I've done several darker pieces in this style, and wanted to lighten things up a bit with some bright color!
Bold purples - light, cranberry and dark - accentuate the painting from top to bottom with a cool silver highlight mixed in. The light backdrop of bluish purple gives the ideal setting and the icing of a creme splash across the foreground really sets off the piece.
